Dear Lions, Leo-Lions and Leos of District 60B,
As we enter the month of September 2026, I would like to pause and express my sincere appreciation to every Club President, Club Officer, Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, District Officer, Committee Chairperson, Leo Leader, and member who has worked tirelessly to prepare for the 2026–2027 Lionistic Year. The level of planning, commitment, and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout our District has been tremendous. Across our islands, clubs have held planning sessions, developed budgets, organized service calendars, appointed committees, and established goals that will guide their work during the year. At the District level, our leadership team including the GAT has also been diligently laying the foundation to support every club in delivering meaningful service to our communities.
Planning, however, is only the beginning. The true measure of our success will be found in the actions we take and the lives we transform. As International President Mark S. Lyon reminds us, service is the cornerstone of our organization. Like the mighty oak, our roots are firmly grounded in service, and it is through our compassion, dedication, and commitment that we continue to grow stronger and make a lasting impact on the people we serve.
His message aligns perfectly with our District theme: “Service: Our Blessing. Our Legacy. Our Future.”
Now is the time to move confidently from planning to implementation. Let us work together to achieve the goals we have established for District 60B. Let us increase our service impact through projects that address the real needs of our communities. Let us grow our membership by welcoming new volunteers while ensuring our current members remain engaged and inspired. Let us invest in the development of our Leos and future leaders, strengthen our support for the Lions Clubs International Foundation, increase the visibility of our service through effective marketing, and build meaningful partnerships with businesses, governments, and community organizations across the Caribbean.
Every club has a role to play in achieving our District goals. No contribution is too small, and no act of service is insignificant. Whether you are organizing a community project, mentoring a new Lion, supporting a Leo Club, making an LCIF contribution, or simply extending kindness to someone in need, you are helping to strengthen our District and fulfill our mission.
As we continue this journey together, I encourage every Lion and Leo to remain focused, united, and committed to excellence. No one should be left behind. Let us support one another, share ideas, celebrate successes, and work collaboratively across clubs and zones. Together, we can accomplish far more than any one club or individual can achieve alone.
Thank you for your continued dedication, your willingness to serve, and your unwavering commitment to Lionism. I am honoured to serve alongside you, and I look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements that we will accomplish together throughout this Lionistic year.
May God continue to bless you, your families, your clubs, and the communities we proudly serve.
